Containers manufactured with an inner panel of rigid polyurethane foam (PUR) coated on both sides with a multilayer aluminium-kraft complex. Among its main characteristics are its high thermal resistance, which allows the use of smaller thicknesses of insulating panel, its rigidity and lightness, which facilitate handling and installation. The high insulating power of the PUR AL panel ensures high thermal comfort once installed. On the other hand, the aluminium finish protects the panel from aggressive atmospheres and facilitates pressure washing for optimum hygiene.
Rigid Polyurethane Foam is a material with a solid, uniform and resistant structure that has a high insulating capacity due to its low thermal conductivity and is 25% better than the average of other products used in thermal insulation (e.g. extruded and expanded polystyrene foams…).
Standard configurations are available in positive (0ºC and +8ºC) and negative (-15ºC and -21ºC) temperatures for 72-96-120 h.
If dry ice is used to maintain negative temperatures we can guarantee the cold chain for more than 168 hours of transport.
Suitable for refrigerated or temperature controlled transport of food, pharmaceutical and biomedical samples.
Advantages:
- Dimensionally stable, does not shrink or warp.
- Excellent insulating capacity and extreme rigidity.
- Excellent seal, due to its closed structure.
- Compatible with any cold accumulation system, such as eutectic gel packs, rigid or flexible cold accumulators, positive and negative accumulators, dry ice, ice, etc.
- Light weight.
- Shock and vibration resistant.
